Proven Leadership, Real Solutions
Experience that matters for Carroll County
A Fighter for Our Community
Colin Mitchell has spent his career solving problems with data and discipline. Rising to Staff Sergeant during fifteen years of service in the Army National Guard, Mitchell served through disaster relief efforts when communities needed it most.
After earning his undergraduate and master's degrees in Applied Mathematics from Northeastern University, he built a decade-long career analyzing complex challenges for organizations ranging from JP Morgan to innovative startups. As a data analyst, business intelligence engineer, and coder, Mitchell knows how to cut through complexity to find solutions that work.
His experience in both military service and the private sector taught him that good solutions come from hard work, clear thinking, and attention to detail. Now he's ready to bring that analytical approach and work ethic to the New Hampshire House of Representatives, because Carroll County needs representatives who understand both numbers and real-world problem solving.
Fighting for What Matters
Real solutions for real challenges
No New Taxes, No Exceptions
Every citizen deserves to keep what they worked hard to earn. I will vote against every tax increase that comes before the NH House while working to reduce existing taxes. I am committed to protecting New Hampshire's advantage of having no income or sales tax while working to reduce government spending.
Protecting Second Amendment Rights
"Shall not be infringed" is not a suggestion. I will introduce legislation to close the effective Red Flag laws in New Hampshire's restraining order system. I will work to prevent firearms from being seized before a citizen has appeared before a judge. I will require a real hearing with both parties present before any law-abiding citizen loses access to their weapons, ending a process that strips gun rights on one side of the story with fewer protections than formal Red Flag states provide.
Faith in Our First Amendment
Freedom of Speech is an inalienable right endow at creation, and should never be stripped from a citizen due to their faith. I will protect churches and houses of worship from losing tax exemptions when pastors speak on matters of faith and conscience. I will ensure state tax policy can never be used against religious speech.
Judicial Reforms in Family Court
Every child deserve two parents. I will introduce legislation requiring New Hampshire family courts to establish a presumption of shared parenting and mandate mediation before custody hearings. I will work to streamline the family court process and reduce financial burdens on families.
Tax Benefits for Residential Micro-Farms
Small businesses and local agriculture shouldn't be exempted from tax benefits due to their size. I will submit legislation to extend agricultural tax exemptions to residential properties dedicating at least 5% of land to food production, helping working families reduce their tax burden while promoting food security and local agriculture.
Keep the Golden Years Golden
Retirement should mean peace of mind, not fear of losing the home you paid for. I will introduce legislation to freeze property tax rates for New Hampshire residents over 65, ensuring seniors who built their lives here can stay in their homes without facing escalating tax bills.
Protecting Our Right to a Future
Other states restrict innovation with preemptive regulation, age verification spyware mandates, and uninformed restrictions on 3D printing and AI development. With its freedom advantage, New Hampshire can become the destination for the next generation of enterprise and technology. I will oppose restrictions on emerging technology and protect economic freedom. I will work to make New Hampshire the destination for entrepreneurs, makers, and innovators by enshrining technology rights in our constitution.
Committed to Conservative Principles
Colin Mitchell believes that good governance comes from applying conservative principles with analytical rigor. His military service taught him discipline and duty. His business experience taught him efficiency and accountability. Together, they've prepared him to serve Carroll County with distinction.
Limited Government
Government should do a few things well, not many things poorly
Fiscal Responsibility
Every dollar matters when it comes from hardworking families
Constitutional Rights
Our freedoms are not negotiable
Ready to Make a Difference
Carroll County deserves a representative who brings both analytical expertise and real-world experience to Concord. Together, we can protect what makes New Hampshire special while solving the challenges we face.
